The M1 K.C. Rev. 2 is our Flagship Supercharger Kit, first introduced in 2017 as the largest supercharger setup available for BMW’s, designed for the 6-cylinder BMW M50, M52, M54, S50, S52 & S54 Engines. It uses the Roots type M122H or TVS 2350 superchargers right out of the V8 650HP 5.8L Ford Mustang GT500’s as well as being able to support Twin Screw type superchargers upto 2.9L

This supercharger system supports a wide range of classic and Neo-modern BMW models such as the BMW E34, E36, E38, E39, E46, E83 X3, E85, E53 X5, E60, E61, E65, E66, Z3, Z4 models as well as Wiesmann MF 30 (2000- 2002) and Land Rover Defender (1997-2000).


Developed between 2016 – 2017 by Hyde Motor Works in a joint effort with K.C. Design Concepts, the M1 K.C. was made to be the most powerful setup conceivable for the BMW S5x and M5x engines, going far beyond the typical turbo build. It was first showcased at the Bimmerfest East in 2017 and uses the notorious Eaton M122H & TVS2350 superchargers commonly found on the Mustang GT500’s which are easily capable of flowing well beyond 650 HP.

The M1 K.C. Supercharger Kit is ideal for a very powerful sleeper street car that can see super heavy track time daily. Made with aircraft grade aluminum, it is currently available in its 2nd generation(REV 2), and utilizes the factory belt drive, which allows you to preserve all the original stock belt driven engine accessories as the alternator, power steering, air conditioner, all in their original position.

  • For the S54 engines with the ITB (Individual Throttle Body), you must use the S54 Manifold option.
  • For the S50 engines with the ITB (Individual Throttle Body), you must delete the ITB and convert to use the SR1 Manifold option.
  • On the E46 and E38 and E39 you will be required to relocate your radiator reservoir or use a E36 or aftermarket radiator for space issues.
  • The Supercharger is not included in the kit unless ordered separately from us, you are advised to use the given part number for the supercharger and order the supercharger locally.
  • The Intercooler is highly suggested with the M1 K.C. Supercharger Kit.
  • Stock M122H pulley will limit the boost to 14PSI with an air to air intercooler, For 17-20 PSI you will have to rebuild the M122H Supercharger and use any available Hyde Motor Works overdrive pulley made for the M122H Supercharger or upgrade to the TVS2350 Supercharger, or even larger up to 2.9L Twin Screw type superchargers from Ken Bell or Whipple.
  • The stock engine should not be pushed beyond 10PSI.*


To complete the installation on any of the setups, you will also require the following additional parts:

  • Eaton M122H or TVS2350 with recommended accessories (can be sold separately, check the technical specifications for part numbers)
  • an Intercooler Kit with silicone pipes and hose clamps (can be sold separately)
  • Throttle Body Relocation Cable Kit (can be sold separately, required only for M50, M52, S50 engines)
  • vacuum hose
  • upgraded fuel system
  • a boost gauge and
  • a proper tune.
