V.X.R. SC14 to Rotrex Supercharger Upgrade Kit

V.X.R. ROTREX UPGRADE ADAPTER KIT FOR SC14 SUPERCHARGERS

Designed in 2025 by Kristjan Quinn from Australia in full corporation with K.C. Design Concepts in the USA. Built around using the Rotrex C30 & 38 centrifugal superchargers from Rotrex Superchargers in Denmark. With the Rotrex C38, the V.X.R. kit is capable of holding just around 0.8 – 1 Bar of boost (10-14PSI) on most BMW M5x 6 Cylinder engines up to 3L when used with the V2 Legacy, and 1.5 Bars of boost (well over 20PSI) on the typical 4 Cylinder BMW M4x engines up to 2L when used with the V4 M.O.A.B. 1500. The V.X.R. also of course supports the smaller Rotrex C30.

MANUFACTURERS NOTES & DISCLAIMER

• The Rotrex Supercharger is not included in the kit unless ordered separately from us. You are also able to use the given part number for the supercharger and order the supercharger locally.
• Clutched Pulley Delete required. The SC14 usually comes with a clutched 113mm Supercharger Pulley. You wont be able to use the clutched function any more and will need to disconnect / leave the clutch switch in the ON position.
• Depending on the Supercharger unit and pulley used, it may see boost higher than 14PSI with an air to air intercooler, For most stock engines we suggest going with a larger Supercharger pulley to keep the boost under 10PSI for engine longevity.
• This will depend on the application, engine displacement, the pulley used on the supercharger as well as the crankshaft. It is suggested the customer does their own research what the Rotrex C30 / C38 Superchargers are capable of and the engine they want to use it for.Refer to online calculators such as the Rotrex Calculator found here: https://rotrex.com/calculators/
• Some SC14 variants such as the Type 2 or even Type 3 will have one out of the two front mounting legs about 10mm further back, this means you may have to install the bracket with one mounting hole with a 10mm spacer for alignment. Learn more about the SC14 here: About the SC14 Supercharger.
• To use the full potential of larger / more modern Superchargers, the engine must be built to hold high boost, the stock engine should not be pushed beyond 10PSI.*

ADDITIONAL:

To complete the installation on any of the setups, you will also require the following additional parts:

• Rotrex C38 / C30 Supercharger with recommended accessories (check the technical specifications for part numbers)
• an Intercooler Kit is recommended
• vacuum hose
  
• an high flow air filter
  
• a boost gauge
  
• proper tune is highly recommended if exceeding the normal boost levels of the engine.
