Presenting our newest product line up and supercharger kits as of November 2024. Joining the product line is The Rotrex C38 based Nebraska R1 made for the BMW N51, N52 and N53 6 Cylinder engines as well as the Nemesis – an Eaton M62 based supercharger kit for the BMW N42, N43 & N46.

Nebraska R1

A limited black edition batch of them were released to be delivered to our existing clients who preordered these kits. Under Development since 2023 by K.C. Design Concepts, the Nebraska R1 aims to fill the gap left for the N series BMW Engines that are not Turbocharged. In the future a Rotrex C30 based variant will also be added to our lineup.

Nemesis I

Developed in Ireland by W.M.D. Designs in 2023 and with a limited release earlier in 2024, the Nemisis is aimed for those looking to enhance the power of the infamous BMW 4 Cylinder N Engines.

SR1 REV 7 Manifold

The SR1 REV 7 Manifold now sports a few design improvements which include a rear slope, improving its airflow characteristics as well as ease of fitment when it comes to the wiring over the firewall of various cars.

S50 Engine I.T.B. Flanges

With the S50 Flanges, we have now added full support to our S54 Manifold which can be now used not only on the BMW S54B32 E46 M3 but also on the BMW S50 European M3 Engine commonly found in the Euro E36 M3.

Harbinger GEN II

Our Harbinger Kits also now have added support for the new generation of the Speedmaster P2 Centrifugal Superchargers. It came to our attention earlier this year that the body mounting points on the P2 Supercharger were changed by its manufacturer, Speedmaster.
Our latest Harbinger mounting plate seen above in Black, resolves this issue and supports both the new and old versions respectably.

A latest generation of The B.R.O.S.K 1 kits have also been added to our expanding product line along with many updated parts in our catalogue of custom forced induction goodies.  This is not all, as we progress towards the end of the year and starting a new, we plan to leave you with a few teasers of upcoming products & projects we have in line under development!

After years of development and testing, we are proud to have our BMW M10 Supercharger Kit, the O.T. M10 released and in stock!

Finished in a beautiful carbon black powder coating with fire orange accents and now available to order, the O.T. M10 is an affordable and reliable solution with a recorded 100% Engine HP increase at 163 Rear Wheel HP (200 Engine HP) over the stock power output, all that on a stock BMW M10 Engine.

The O.T. M10 is has been in development since 2020, by its designer and engineer, Travis Emmett from New South Wales, Australia. The whole setup was built around the Mercedes Eaton M45, also called M65 ( but not to be mistaken for the larger M62) roots type supercharger. This kit is capable of increasing the power output of the stock M10 Engine up to to the 200-250HP range as tested on the dyno.

O.T. M10 Supercharged Dyno Results

The BMW M10 Engine was used on the older BMW E30 and BMW 2002 models as well as the BMW 1800, 1802, E12, E21, E28 series of cars. This engine has a history to it for setting records in the racing world in mid 20th century. It was the base from which BMW Built the M12 used in Formula 1, known for making over 1400 HP.

The O.T. M10 Supercharger kit comes with its own custom crank pulley, custom alternator V belt pulley and its very own independent belt drive system. This allows you to upgrade your factory M10 engine generator to a more modern alternator while preserving the function of the stock belt driven engine accessories and running the entire kit independent to the factory drive belt, adding to the reliability and serviceability of the engine itself.

Following our mass production, the latest O.T. M10 kits are now in stock in Germany and in Australia, ready to be ordered from our official shop or any of our resellers.

Below you can watch the designer and engineer of all the Hyde Motor Works Old Timer projects, Travis himself showing the final results after a dyno done on this infamous O.T. M10 Supercharged BMW E30 with the legendary BMW M10 Engine!

We also currently have in the works a higher HP variant using the Rotrex C38 centrifugal supercharger, a video of the concept is also available on our Youtube Channel.

With the O.T. M10 Supercharger kit, you too can now reliably supercharge your old timer BMW M10 engine today!

Featured Supercharged Build of August 2023

This month’s Featured Build takes us to Calgary in Alberta, Canada! This wonderful 1995 BMW E36 Supercharged 318Ti was built by Mathew Schmor. Mat first reached out to us earlier this year, asking us of his intent to supercharge the stock 4 Cylinder BMW M42/M44 engine using the M45 supercharger found in the Mini Cooper.

We quickly settled on a V4 M.O.A.B. 500 Kit, which is based on the AMR 500 supercharger, as the WMD 45 kit that supports the M45 supercharger was not yet ready. The M.O.A.B. 500 kit produces just under 5 PSI of boost which translates an additional 40-50HP + to the stock engine. For a 4 Cylinder BMW engine such as the M44B19 or the M42b18, which hovers around the sub 150HP mark, this pushes it to the level of the 6 Cylinder variants nearing 200HP’s with a more aggressive power band.

“Well we had a successful Saturday morning including some challenges. AMR 500 is fully operational with 4 pounds of boost recorded. We did some short test pulls mainly rolling from 2000 rpm to 5800-6000 rpm second gear shifting into 3rd.

As mentioned before we live pretty high. This set up at Sea Level would probably be reaching closer to 5 pounds of boost.
Consistency hitting 4 lbs of boost. Closer to sea level this unit would really be something.

In reality I am hitting about 2.5 lbs of boost above stock and it is still making the car way more fun to drive and the noises make me grin.”  – Mat

The car has been to the European Car show in Calgary, and the build was well documented on the 318Ti Forums.

For those interested in seeing a few videos, we have put up a small compilation with clips from Mat.
