We finally started production on the eight rib pulley setups. These pulleys are meant to replace the original 6pk pulleys and belt that drives your factory accessories.

If you have a supercharger on your car that is driven by the factory accessory drive belt, this upgrade is for you. If you’re supercharger is driven by a separate pulley mounted in front of the crankshaft, this belt setup will not work without modifications.

I’ll start with the more complicated crankshaft pulley. This is a pulley that we developed that fits over the factory M50, US S50, m52, s52 , m54 ( with 50 or 52 crank hub) This is the assembly that uses a crank hub and then the damper, trigger wheel, main pulley assembly bolts to the crank hub. It requires 2 mm of the front and rear fence of the factory pulley to be machined off. This can also work on the M54 if you swap the one piece damper hub assembly with one from the earlier crank hub that is separated from the pulley
damper assembly.

This is a single piece pulley, 1 58 mm for the main drive belt, and 1 17 mm for the AC compressor. The net overdrive of this pulley will depend on what size pulley is on the supercharger. Example, 66 mm supercharger pulley, the 1 58 crankshaft pulley will increase the drive rounded 21%.

The included larger alternator pulley will have a 14% gross underdrive. The water pump pulley will be a 0.3% gross Overdrive. There is not enough room between the water pump and crankshaft for a larger water pump pulley. The power steering pulley will be 1 1 .1% gross underdrive. End result is overdrive supercharger, underdrive accessories where we can.

Now if the same engines use the ATI damper, we have another crankshaft pulley. With the ATI damper were not limited by the inside diameter. We do have the 1 58 mm pulley for the ATI, but we also offer a 148 mm pulley. Both of these have the 117 mm AC pulley as one unit. With the 148 mm crankshaft pulley this shifts the underdrive of the other accessories. The alternator would be 19.5% gross under driven. The water pump would be 6% gross under driven. And the power steering pump would be 1 6.7% gross under driven. But it will not spin the supercharger as fast as the 158mm crank pulley. We include this option because if you’re running very high RPM engine, the 1 58 mm crank pulley might overshoot the maximum RPMs of the supercharger. And if you are revving that high, I would strongly suggest the ATI damper.

We also offer a pulley set for the s54 engine. Stock damper or ATI.

The 132 mm main crank pulley is paired with a, 1 10 mm AC pulley.

With our accessory pulleys, the alternator will be 8.6% gross under driven. The water pump will be 4% gross under driven, and the power steering pump will be 20% gross under driven.

Our larger s54 crankshaft pulley is 136 mm. With this pulley the alternator will be 5.8% gross under driven, the water pump will be 1 .1% gross under driven. And the power steering pump will be 17.6% gross under driven.

Obviously our pulley setup for the s54 utilizes a more conservative crankshaft pulley size. This is because this particular engine loves to be above 8,000 RPMs. Yes I know the other engines can be built for those High revs, but it’s not very common. In the future we might offer a slightly smaller crank pulley for the other engines with the ATI damper.
I am a car Enthusiast as well as a driver enthusiast. And I saw that I was not the only one having problems with belt slipping on their supercharger.

Even if you have one of the other Supercharger kits that uses its own added on crankshaft pulley, some of those kits can be modified to bring the supercharger pulley in line with the accessory Drive pulley. In that case our pulleys will work for your application
