This Throttle Cable Extension Kit was designed originally for the classic BMW cars using our supercharger kits and require the throttle linkage to be extended to allow the throttle body to be put upstream \/ before the intake of the supercharger.<\/p>\n<p>Although our Throttle Cable Extension Kit can be used on different cars with mechanical linkage, its recommended to read over the detailed specifications below and check if its what you need for your project.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #13aff0;\"><strong>Anmerkungen<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Hyde Motor Works Part# HTCE623A<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Umfasst:<\/em><br \/>\n<em><small>Round metal tube 7*8 &#8211; 45mm<br \/>\n2mm Zinc plated steel conductor cable &#8211; 1500mm<br \/>\n7mm conductor jacket &#8211; 400mm<br \/>\nRound cable Stopper 8*9mm<br \/>\nHex cable stopper 12*12mm<br \/>\nHeat Shrink tune 100mm<\/small><\/em><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #13aff0;\"><strong>INSTALLATION<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><em>The new extension cable completely eliminates the original inner cable. Basically all you&#8217;re doing is reuse the outer jacket and extending the length of the outer jacket so that it can reach the new position of the throttle body. And replacing the inner cable with a longer one<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Start by cutting the inner cable. Then remove the end off of the accelerator pedal and pull the entire inner cable out of the jacket.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Next you will cut the 90\u00b0 metal tube off of the engine side of the outer jacket. Use a small pic in that end of the outer jacket to make sure that the center opening is round and clear.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Pull the plastic adjuster off of the metal tube. And a short piece of stainless steel tubing. Place the stainless steel tubing over the original outer jacket, halfway and use a pair of diagonal cutters to put a slight indentation in the metal to to keep it in place on the original outer jacket. Then put one of the short pieces of heat shrink tubing, over the metal tubing and the original outer jacket. The heat shrink tubing should only cover half of the stainless steel sleeve, and continue on to the original outer jacket. That piece should reach the throttle cable bracket on the throttle body. Plus a little extra. Cut the outer jacket extension cable to length. Check to make sure the openings in each end are unobstructed. Use a small pick if necessary.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Next install the other short piece of heat shrink tubing. Heat both of the short pieces so that they are sealed. And into the throttle cable bracket.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Now install the inner cable till it is seen under the dashboard by the accelerator pedal. Use the appropriate cable stop to connect the inner cable the accelerator pedal.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Then use the appropriate cable stop to connect the other end of the inner cable to the throttle body. And cut off the excess.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Now you can use the adjuster to take up any slack.<\/em><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is our Throttle Cable Extension Kit that
