In a joint project, Hyde Motor Works and K.C. Design Concepts have redesigned the V3 supercharger kit for the European enthusiasts into two separate supercharger kits.<\/p>\n
The larger V3.2 supercharger kit, based on the Eaton M90 supercharger, which was originally developed in 2018, revised in 2020 and will be back on stock for sale from May 2021 on.<\/p>\n
While the same year, the V3.62 supercharger kit, based on the Eaton M62 supercharger, was redesigned into a completely separate kit, and will be on stock for sale from July 2021 on.<\/p>\n
Pre-orders in the shop now possible starting at \u20ac<\/span> 999.<\/strong><\/p>\n The new system is a simpler bolt-on bracket system, designed for the M5x and S5x line of BMW engines. It retains all OEM accessories, such as air-conditioning, power steering, alternator and even utilizes the OEM belt drive system! Which means, the user does not need to compromise on comforts to make more power. The Eaton M62 allows for low to moderate boost at 5-8 PSI, while the Eaton M90 can be pushed up to 9-10 PSI.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Hyde Motor Works also offers the HMW Straight Six Manifold (Rev 4 is scheduled to be released in April) for the V3.2 supercharger kit, which requires a custom manifold. The V3.62 however can work with the stock intake manifold found in all M50, M52, M54 engines.<\/p>\n Both V3 supercharger kits support all BMW 6-cylinder M5x & S5x based engines: The V3 series of kits will be covered by a 2-year craftsmanship guaranty<\/span> on all HMW manufactured parts.
